In 2022, Nike will be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 with a new “Shapeless, Formless, Limitless” colorway for the occasion. Heavily influenced by China, this Nike Air Force 1 sports vivid colors, unique ornaments, and new branding on the tongues and insoles nodding to its “Shapeless, Formless, Limitless” nickname. Other details include stitching on the panels and heels, Pink suede overlays, and “NIKE INTERNATIONAL” branding on the tongue with the model’s celebrated years below. Metal hardware atop a Green translucent outsole completes the design.

The goal was to have these 12 RevolutionAirs each reimagine and design an unique pair of Nike Air Max. The shoe with the most votes will be released by Nike later on in the next Air Max day. This Vote Forward campaign was proven to be a huge success and allowed Nike to connect better with the sneaker community. The sneaker draws inspiration from a lot of places: including vintage Nike hats, windbreakers, sneakers, Sean’s love for vintage clothing, and two iconic Air Max models.
